My Sea

total length unraveled: 5’1” long
Falls on body as two 30” length chains. Can be worn in a variety of arrangements and lengths.

This first piece embodies the guideline, “Make a necklace as long as you are tall.” The necklace, My Sea, is a self portrait. It reflects Chloe’s physical height, origins, growth, and layers. Her inspiration for this piece originates from her costal hometown, Rockport, MA. She makes parallels between her life and place where her heart is held.

Chamber

Materials: Sterling Silver, Apatite Gem

2” long x approx. 5/16” wide
Approx. 4.5mm Apatite Gem

These earrings are a study and interpretation of cinder blocks and forms observed at the harbor of Gloucester, MA. Chloe was inspired by the overlapping forms and cavities formed by the objects and there interaction with the environment. She plays with light, form and textures.
